Murgh Lasooni Recipe - Garlic chicken curry

What you need
  • 300 gm chicken boneless, cut in 1-inch pieces;
  • 2 tbsp crushed garlic;
  • ½ cup yogurt;
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream;
  • 2 tbsp lime juice;
  • 1 tsp cumin seed;
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder;
  • 1 tsp garam masala;
  • ½ cup water;
  • salt to taste;
  • oil.
Method
  1. Into a large bowl mix chicken with yogurt, garlic, lime juice, salt, red chiclli powder and garam masala. Let it marinate for 5-10 hours.
  2. Heat some oil into a deep pan. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle (30 seconds).
  3. Add marinated chicken and stir fry for 10-15 mins, on medium flame.
  4. Add some water, reduce the flame and cover the pan. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add fresh cream and serve warm with boiled rice or your favorite bread.
